Shoreline
Growing up on the coast of British Columbia, I was inspired by the arrangements of scattered debris along the shoreline after a winter storm. This collection emerged from those memories and is a response to the evocation from the refuse in the sand.
Each piece is a textile collage of irregular hand pleated and distressed silk and bamboo fabrics finished with Mokuba ribbons, gemstones, freshwater pearls, other findings. Every piece is hand stitched, and one of a kind.
